About
EDIT YOUR LIFE is an award-winning podcast about simplifying and decluttering your physical, mental, and logistical space to make room for the things you care about in life. Each week, Christine Koh offers thoughts and practical tips on a range of family and lifestyle topics.
Edit Your Life launched in 2015, co-hosted by Christine Koh and Asha Dornfest. Christine and Asha became internet friends in 2006, finally met in real life in 2009 as roomies at a conference in New York (it’s not as weird as it sounds), and co-authored the book Minimalist Parenting: Enjoy Modern Family Life More By Doing Less in 2013. They also traveled to Ethiopia together in 2013 with the ONE Campaign. Edit Your Life won “Podcast of the Year” at the 2017 Iris Awards.
Asha Dornfest retired from the show in December 2021. Christine remains as host, publishing a mix of expert interviews and solo episodes.
Christine Koh, Host + Producer (2015 – present)
CHRISTINE KOH is a Boston-based music and brain scientist turned multimedia creative. She spent a decade in academia before hanging up her academic spurs in favor of more flexible and independent ventures. Christine has created multiple successful businesses over the years, including her blog Boston Mamas and design companies Posh Peacock and Brave New World Designs. She is an award-winning podcaster and livestreamer, co-author of Minimalist Parenting: Enjoy Modern Family Life By Doing Less, and is Creative Director of Social Impact at Geben Communication. She grew up as the sixth of seven kids, used to play violin semi-professionally, and ranks her 58-hour natural labor childbirth with her second daughter among her proudest life achievements. Christine lives in the Boston area with her husband Jonathan, daughters Laurel and Violet, and standard poodle James.
Asha Dornfest, Host (2015 – 2021)
ASHA DORNFEST is a writer, community builder and optimist. She’s the author, most recently, of Parent Hacks: 134 Genius Shortcuts for Life With Kids, based on her award-winning blog Parent Hacks, which she started as a way to swap tips with other parents and, ultimately, to find out if anyone else felt as surprised by parenting as she did (the answer was YES). Her oldest child is now in college, and she’s exploring the edges of what’s next. She believes in listening, speaking up, and the curative powers of fresh air, coffee and a good conversation. Asha lives in Portland, Oregon with her family. Visit her at ashadornfest.com or say hi at @ashadornfest.
